Upgrade/Recover Serto Agent in AWS


Upgrade and recover are only possible if you have your Serto Agent isntance using a remote database. See the database setup guide in order to use a remote database.

In case your Serto Agent server got corrupted/terminated or you want to upgrade it, you need to run the following steps:

  1. Launch a new Serto Agent instance in EC2
  2. Login to that instance
  3. Go to Settings > Database setup
  4. Fill the fields with the data corresponding to your remote database instance
  5. Login again and you should see the recovered data.

In this process any database migrations required to upgrade to the current Serto Agent version will be executed automatically.
